What is a weblog/blog?

A blog is a web page made up of usually short, frequently updated posts that are arranged chronologically—like a what's new page or a journal. The content and purposes of blogs varies greatly—from links and commentary about other web sites, to news about a company/person/idea, to diaries, photos, poetry, mini-essays, project updates, even fiction.

The one who blogs is called a Blogger.

About my blogs:

I prefer to call them blogs. My blogs are personal and will be like instant messages to my website. They are simply something like "what's on my mind like musings". They may be related to some specific idea or subject like technology, internet, internation politics etc. It may contain news, quotes, related links, files or commentary.

As I am a new blogger and currently do feel like blogging about a specific topic. I am not related to any group. At least not yet but hopefully I would be someday :)
